OKAY FOLKS. The OMG HIATUS has been downgraded to a not-hiatus due to my bosses embracing common sense. yaaay they're giving us a couple more days To celebrate, have a questions meme!

It goes LIKE SO. You comment here and ASK A QUESTION. It can be anything - OOC, IC, relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. my character's opinion of your character, or maybe some specific behavior you've been wondering about, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, who I might consider raping you into apping, my favorite color or variety of ice cream, etc.

WHEN I REPLY I will also ask you a question in turn!

Does Remy have any favorite campers/counselors?

One of Remy's favorite campers just left, unfortunately. D: (baawww Megan)

With Megan gone, I'd say Sohma Yuki is one of Remy's favorite campers. It's not just the fact that Yuki is possessed by the Rat and therefore Remy's naturally drawn to him - Yuki stuck up for him on Remy's first day when Lina started complaining about rats cooking, and has always tried to help him out whenever he's seen Remy at the mercy of Camp.

As for counselors, Charlotte Charles comes to mind. I suspect they geek out about gourmet cheeses offscreen a LOT.

THERE ARE PROBABLY A LOT MORE but these are who immediately come to mind. There are very few campers or counselors that Remy dislikes, to be honest!

I would say... that time he actually started to make some progress on the Tuesday soup only to have it revert and then attack him. He was SO CLOSE... then on top of the disappointment he had to deal with violence. He still works on it, though.

Let's go with "who would you top me into apping?" (Pretend I don't suck at actually finishing an app.)

MIKE WAZOWSKIIII ♥ I love that movie. I don't know if I'd be able to sustain Mike's manic personality, though.

ANYWAY this is a question I can answer right off the cuff.

Remy will be hit by the human virus again once a) I have enough free time to do as much with that as I want to and b) I find a better PB. I really need to find one more obviously in his late teens. Alternatively, I would love to bodyswitch him with somebody sometime.

Ro will deage to maybe 6 or 7. I'm wibbling on trying to find a live-action PB or commissioning somebody to draw me tiny!Ro, and I think I need to review a couple episodes first.

What's your favorite bit of headcanon for any or all of your characters? If you don't have a favorite, pick something at random.

Yeah, manic personalities can be tough to sustain. I know I can't really do it. The closest I can is with Del's type.

My favorite bit of headcanon per character:

Bandou Mitsuru would have joined a dekochari (art bike) gang if he had never discovered AT.

Delirium does not like kilts. For some reason I don't understand. She just doesn't. Plaid, but no kilts.

Yukimi got into freelance journalism cos he needed a Front World job and he'd get to write about stuff that interested him, and supply his own photos for it. He likes photography. His articles have given him a minor rep, enough that he doesn't have to work too hard to get assignments. He's had articles in a number of different magazines, including a couple high market ones.

Dancy is completely unphased by talking animals. Her reaction to talking animals is not "oh my god this animal can talk," it's "Oh, another animal that talks." She's talked to birds in canon and once held a conversation with a taxidermied bear without batting much of an eye, so.... yeah. It doesn't occur to her that this is unnatural, only uncommon.

Belphegor may sometimes lie to people about what happened to his brother/family to see how far along he can lead them on, for the sake of his own amusement. He's that much of a troll. Likewise, he may lie about which European country he's from; he knows enough about European royal families to BS his way into any lineage he wants.


Are there any canons you got into because of Camp?

OH HELL YES.

My discovery of and absolute love for Blue Beetle is all Jaime's fault. (And, indirectly, so is Leverage, which I only heard about because John Rogers left BB to helm the show and I adored his run on the book so much I had to check it out.) The rest of the DC cast subsequently got me reading comics again.

The other big one Camp sucked me into was the Ace Attorney games. I'd never even heard of Phoenix Wright until I started following camp in early 2007, and was intrigued and amused by Miles and Mia and Phoenix - and then Franziska showed up and I went "Holy crap this cannot be for real." I have all the games now and have never looked back.

Actually, Avatar: The Last Airbender deserves its own paragraph as well. You've seen the Avacast. You know why.

As for the rest that I can think of: 07-Ghost, Young Wizards, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Pushing Daisies, Life (because someone pimped it), Trinity Blood, Kamen Rider Den-O, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Manhunter and Runaways.

These are only the canons I've actually been able to check out. The list of canons I want to get into because of Camp but haven't gotten around to watching/reading yet is much, much longer. (Really, if you want to use Camp to get me sucked into a canon, a print canon is easier because I can read it in my spare time.)

What are your thoughts on canon spoilers?

I'm ambivalent on canon spoilers. Or maybe "picky" is a better term. I know I absolutely don't mind them when gathering info in Del's Sanity or Lack Thereof Meme; in fact, I welcome them. But as a whole I prefer the big spoilers whited out so that I can voluntarily spoil myself when I make the choice to highlight. Years ago, back when Death Note was still publishing each week as a manga, I almost stopped reading because someone in #lurk on irc.irchighway.net mentioned the big spoiler about L that happens around chapter 58. And then when I was reading Nabari no Ou I would have killed anyone who Yukimi-spoiled me for chapter 50. On another note, I tend to follow the raws for canons like Air Gear and Prince of Tennis and Reborn, so I never minded spoilers for those as long as I got to view the raw itself first, or voluntarily clicked on the link to the spoilers. So, it kind of depends on how much of a rat's ass I give about the character or canon.

Aside from the manic types, is there a character type you WANT to app but aren't sure you'd be able to do justice to cos of this or that?
