So before I go back to sleep I'm posting an Anything Goes meme:

So here's an all-in-one post for Relationship, First Impressions, Hot or Not, Essay, Please Ramble About This At Me, Explain Your Thoughts on Their Thoughts, You Should Jump Me, App My Canon and whatever you want to ask for. Anything gooooooes o/

This goes for both Remy and Ro and I have a lot of unsorted observations and tl;dr about the latter so hit me up! I... probably won't be able to get back to it til tomorrow afternoon but I will.

I GOT FOUR MORE HOURS I'M GOOD. XD

At first, Ro thought Virgil was an okay guy, sort of a geek but not as much as some she'd run into. But... something was kind of off about him. She wasn't sure what. A little bit of it had to do with the fact that he's a nice guy (and she tends to be initially suspicious of unwarranted niceness which is why I hope Chuck asks for an impression), some of it had to do with the confusion over identities, and some of it had to do with the fact that he seemed bizarrely familiar, more so in costume. I doubt Ro is all that well versed in superheroes of her time, but I'd wager she's heard of Static, and while she didn't consciously connect the two then it was still kind of weird talking to a teenage superhero who's NOT a teenager when you come from.

Now that Zeta's spilled the beans, Ro is probably going to be a little more comfortable around Virgil-- because that explained pretty much most of the weirdness, and her limited experiences with superheroes (Batman) have been pretty good. I'm not so sure how she's going to handle knowing the secret (part of me thinks it'd be hilarious if she tried to pretend she didn't know only to get caught out anyway, but I'm not sure if that's IC). Pretty sure it won't make her treat him any differently if the way she snarked at Terry in "Countdown" was any indication, but it's pushed Virgil over into the trustworthy category. Which maybe less than half a dozen people in camp fall into at this point.

tl;dr Virgil is cool in Ro's book. Still a bit of a geek, though. wow I need caffeine.

Well, gee, between Bucky, the picto convention geeks who got in the way and the hackers who tried to take Zee apart? The geeks Ro's encountered so far are either obnoxious or clueless or... tried to take Zee apart. (Okay, Bucky's helpful, but he still gets on Ro's nerves.) XD

You've probably been asked before, but; Remy's thoughts on when he was human, and will it happen again?

Also that thread got cut really short, but it seemed like Ro and Shiroe had great potential to go and be snarky together. PING ME NEXT TIME SHE'S OUT SO I CAN JUMP HER.

Actually, Remy's time as a human kind of killed a lot of his own doubts about being accepted as a chef. It didn't make things easier-- in fact, being human was a lot more difficult than he thought it would be! It didn't keep him from being treated like a pup (thanks Megan), and worse he didn't have the sense of smell as a human that he did as a rat. So he was very, very happy when he finally changed back. It was nice being bigger than the toucans for a while though.

And yes, it will happen again when I get a better PB. Real Life smacked me upside the head when he got his first virus so I didn't get the opportunity to mess with his head as much as I wanted. The PB I picked at first was cute, but too young. Human!Remy would be more obviously in his late teens. But still short.

Yeah, we should thread again when there's more to snark about and when I am less braindead. ♥

First impressions?

Deb seems pretty cool for an old lady.

...hahaha BEFORE YOU SHOOT ME: our one thread wasn't much of a first impression because it got cut short by RL and bleah on my end. But Deb seemed all right. Ro appreciated not being talked down to or treated like a delinquent since she gets that a lot although sometimes she kind of asks for it, and Deb got points for having the guts to try the midnight dip. She might take Deb's advice some night when there isn't a huge crowd. It might have been a less positive first impression if Ro had any idea Deb was a cop.

So yeah, I should jump Deb with Ro again sometime. XD

First impressions on Chuck? :3

YAY I hoped you'd tag to this XD

Remy really likes Chuck and thinks she's a sweet and really upbeat person-- you don't see that kind of optimism much in camp, and it's refreshing. Also he greatly respects a fellow connoiseur since she has great taste in cheese. And having met Ned first he's pretty sure she's the reason Ned isn't a nervous wreck thanks to camp. Offscreen I'm sure they both probably go on and on about Paris and cheese the only reason I dropped that thread was because I was making myself really really hungry XD.

Ro really didn't know what to make of Chuck. As a general rule, she doesn't really trust people; with the notable exception of Zeta, she doesn't have a lot of experience with people being nice to her unless they have ulterior motives. In fact, she's used to it being the other way around! So she encountered Chuck early on in this weird situation and Chuck was so nice and helpful that it set off a lot of Ro's internal alarms. But since there was nothing Chuck could have possibly wanted from her, she left their conversation very, very confused. It'll take her a little while to realize that's just... how Chuck is. Ro has heard of such people but never actually encountered one before.
