Everything meme, I suppose.

Since I did the half-awake version of this in Remy's journal, I'll put the full version here.
Remy
App Story: Was watching Ratatouille for the nth time a couple days before going to the beach, mucking around with trying to make a meal out of the remains of my fridge and thought, "I'd like to try to see him fix Tuesday's soup." And then I stopped dead. And then I ran to the computer to post on the beta offer post because apps opened in 10 days. Wrote most of his app in my notebook while sitting on the beach, and ironically got a lot of ideas for it when we took my Mom out to a fondue restaurant (it was her birthday, which was the point of the beach trip).
In Camp: Remy's ongoing quest is to fix the Tuesday soup. He's only had one virus - turned human for two weeks. Camp hasn't tormented him too much but he is currently involved in an ongoing prank war with the toucans. Word has gotten around that he can control the gorillas (to an extent) when he gets on their heads, and so the gorillas try to leave him alone. Marcy does too, but weekly bribes work. She likes his souffles. Remy doesn't ask.
State of the Union: Remy is worried about his restaurant, yes, but overall he's cool with Camp. He can talk to humans here. He can cook. He's treated as a cook. He'd be a lot more cool with things if not for the toucans, which is why I have them getting on his case.
Plans: Return of the human virus when I can find a better PB (the one I had is too young) and can mess with his head a lot more. Hamsterball post with Megan.
Issues: Very little! I mean, I have logistics issues sometimes because, you know, he's tiny and getting around is a chore. But after playing my first CFUW game with Remy, I'm totally comfortable and confident with his voice.
Ease of Play: 9.5/10. One-half point taken off only because there are some people Remy shouldn't thread with, since he's a tiny squishy rat and I don't want him killed.
Droppability: I bought him a year of paid time in December. I'd only drop him if circumstances force me to have to drop the game or RPing itself.
Ro
App Story: So as much as I love Remy, I really wanted a second character, preferably human and preferably with a much different voice. But with grad school driving me up the wall, I really didn't have time to write an app and had NO ideas for app hooks or was pinged hard enough by someone not already in camp. Then Pell apped Zeta, and I was flailing and going OMG I REMEMBER THAT SHOW YOU ARE SO AWESOME FOR APPING HIM. Then Pell posted the Veoh links... and I discovered Season Two. See, when The Zeta Project was first run I was in my senior year of college, and when I got out and started working we had no TV for a while and I didn't really watch any Saturday morning cartoons. I only got caught up with Justice League thanks to friends taping it for me. So I totally missed most of Season Two, which had better animation, more character development... and throughout it, Ro being snarky and adorable and breaking into a freaking NSA installation all by herself and I went, "I MUST HAVE YOU." Then I posted to the beta post, told Pell, got glomped by Pell, canon-reviewed and flailed at her with app drafts before she left and tore my hair out over the ending of the app until around 2 AM during the app window, gave up and sent it in. Then spent the whole weekend nail-biting over it and was stunned it got so many in-votes. Then realized I didn't get the password for the account before Pell left and facepalmed-- fortunately she checked her e-mail the next day.
In Camp: Ro spent the first couple days looking for Zeta, then when Edward showed her pretty much kept to herself waiting on Zeta to wake up (or for Bucky to show up, whichever happened first). Now she's out and about, trying to get a feel for the place and trying to figure out if Zeta blew his cover to anyone who would really care.
State of the Union: Ro does not like camp. There's no vid games, no tunes, ancient laptops-- if the year is what they're saying, this is like her grandparents' time. She's gotten used to being on the road, too, and being stuck in one place is making her chafe. Also despite what anyone says, she's really worried about what will happen if Agent Bennet's team shows up. Stuck in camp or not, Bennet will probably still try to capture and shut Zeta down. And there's not as many places to run to. She is dealing with it better now that Zeta's awake and around.
Plans: Work on the voice. Co-post with Zee at some point? Jump Virgil more so she'll connect him to the Static of her time. Get her to meet and connect with people who aren't Zee. Pick up that thread with Zima. Turn my notes into a coherent essay. Have her camp-forced into Truth or Dare.
Issues: My issues boil down to one major problem-- I have the wit of a turnip and I'm playing someone who's over 9000 times wittier than me. So in situations where she would have a comeback, I frequently have... nothing. Or a response that makes zero sense. I've been looking at some of my threads and going "Oh, come on, she could do so much better than that." Ro is all about thinking on her feet, and I seriously need to work on my improv. Any suggestions? I get her pretty well, it's her sharp wit that I'm having a hell of a time with. I can't just keep her away from anyone remotely witty, that's cowardly and completely OOC. Any tips on how to work on this?
Ease of Play: It varies across the board. With Zeta, 8/10. Otherwise it's all over the place. If I'm tired I shouldn't play her because my brain really has to be firing on all cylinders to get her right.
Droppability: Right now, only if Zeta drops. Yes, I'm having some issues, but when she clicks it is really fun playing her.
